The full members of BUCP can be divided up into the following groups:
Group 1 includes certification bodies that:
act as a certification body (OCI) for the BENOR mark in one or more sectors, or that manage the BENOR mark in its capacity as sectoral organisation (OSO)
and/or
certify within the framework of the Technical Approval in Construction (ATG)
and/or
are notified by the Belgian authorities to the European Commission within the framework of the CPR for tasks covered by the AVCP systems 1+, 1 and 2+.
Group 2 includes the construction products inspection bodies that work as a subcontractor for one or more bodies belonging to Group 1.
Group 3 includes laboratories that:
Work as a subcontractor for one or more bodies belonging to Group 1
and/or/p>
are notified by the Belgian authorities to the European Commission within the framework of the CPR for tasks covered by the AVCP system 3.
Organisations belonging to the above-mentioned groups are only admitted as full members if they work within the scope of Belgian voluntary quality labels, in particular the BENOR mark or the Technical Approval (ATG), or if they are notified by the Belgian authorities to the European Commission within the framework of the CPR.
Organisations that do not meet these requirements, may however be admitted by BUCP as associate members.
