Information about certified products
Quality assurance in construction thanks to certified construction products, approved building systems, and reliable companies.
For more than 60 years, risk management in the construction sector has been supported by publicly available quality declarations and quality marks for products, building systems, and construction companies, such as the BENOR mark, ATG, the COPRO mark, and others.
These declarations are based on suitability studies and certifications according to international standards by independent bodies and are available to all public and private project owners and construction stakeholders.
Companies that apply for approval or certification for their products, building systems, or services commit to ensuring their quality and are regularly monitored.
By opting for approved and certified products, building systems, and construction companies, you ensure complete control over essential technical and sustainability risks while avoiding quality deficiencies.
The rules for obtaining such a quality declaration are based on Belgian and international standards and specifications and on control procedures, which are determined per sector in consensus with all relevant stakeholders.
To make this information about quality declarations as accessible as possible, the mark owners – BENOR ASBL, BUtgb ASBL, and COPRO ASBL – joined forces with BUCP ASBL, the association of certification, inspection, and attestation bodies, as well as laboratories in Belgium, to provide a unique digital access portal.
Through a convenient and versatile search system, you gain direct access to all normative specifications, certification regulations, certificates, technical data sheets, and other documents or web pages.
This information can be usefully applied in designing, specifying, ordering, and inspecting products and building systems, or in selecting and assessing competent construction companies.
You can either search via a search bar where you type the name of a product, building system, or company, or use overview tables and filters. The system will guide you through search assistance.
Your search will result in an overview of the objects found: documents that you can view or download, or web pages that you can visit. Links to the websites of the responsible institutions are also provided for each object.
All information is published under the sole responsibility of the competent institution and is kept permanently up-to-date.
The use of the system is entirely free of charge and does not require authentication. It complies with European regulations on personal data protection.
